Summary:
Responsible for answering incoming and internal calls and transferring calls to other departments and individuals, transfer information, handle all emergency code calls per protocol, page employees overhead when appropriate and be able to handle any situation quickly and smoothly.
Operators must respond in a calm and professional manner to emergency situations including various code and alarm panels in the switchboard area.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with various cultural backgrounds.
Computer knowledge and keyboard skills.
Preferred:
Six months medical clerk/receptionist experience.
Medical terminology and anatomy background.
Cash balancing experience.
Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desired.
Wage:
$17.
