We are a custom crush facility with 3,000,000 gallons of capacity and growing and crush over 17,000 tons at harvest for multiple clients.
We have a team of skilled and experienced winemakers and cellar crew dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality.
We are currently looking for a detailed-oriented and hard-working person to work with the lab throughout the year.
Throughout the year, you will play an instrumental role in the production of 3,000,000 gallons of wine.
Laboratory Technician Duties:
Pulling daily samples for analyses Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot all winery equipment o Ameo Y15 o Anton Paar (Alcoholizer, DMA) o pH Meter Running analysis and trials related to juicing and finished wine Assist with QA/QC, micros Adhere to laboratory methods and protocols Daily fermentation analysis (Brix, pH, TA) Use of:
Vintrace, Teams/MS Office, Monday.
com Keeping detailed records and updating analyses accurately in a timely fashion Report to lab lead regarding workflows and timelines Maintain cleanliness and organization within the lab(s)
Qualifications:
Willingness to learn and grow Strong interest in winemaking and wine production Degree in Chemistry, Fermentation Science, Biological Science, or equivalent preferred Good computer skills:
understanding Microsoft programs Attention to detail Ability to follow all standard procedures, including safety protocols Good interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and as a team to achieve goals Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include additional hours, weekends, and alternate shifts Rate of Pay:
$22.
