The Tasting Room Manager will over see day-to-day operations and lead a team of Wine Club Ambassadors that are focused on direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales and wine club acquisition.
The Tasting Room manager will also oversee fulfillment of wine shipments and assist with club runs.
This position is ideal for a polished individual that enjoys creating exceptional AND approachable experiences for customers, assuring guests receive distinguished service with warmth.
Understanding the value of repeat customers and wine club memberships over one-time transactions is key.

Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation and implementation of strategies to meet and exceed DTC/tasting room goals (with an emphasis on wine club growth).
Lead the sales team in exceptional guest experiences during visits to the tasting room Hire and train tasting room staff Provide ongoing staff training and mentoring Plan and execute tasting room events o Create marketing material for events and assist with wine club collateral.
o Manage all aspects of wine shipments (online orders, wine club and samples) Assist in processing and fulfillment of club runs Generate reports related to inventory, pay roll, tasting room sales and wine club sign- ups.
Ensure brand standards are met in the tasting room Oversee social media accounts assigned to the Prosser location Ensure tasting room regulations and state alcohol laws are being upheld.
Maintain a clean, organized and secure environment o Perform other duties as assigned by Tasting Room Manager and other upper management.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
o Excellent people management and customer service skills Strong leadership skills o Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills o Knowledge of wines and wine production o Commitment to excellence and high standards o Excellent verbal communication skills o Excellent presentation skills o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS systems; Wordpress knowledge is a plus.
o Must be capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks at once o Ability to manage priorities and workflow o Professional appearance and demeanor
Qualifications:
o 3
years' experience with tasting room management.
o Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to grow with changes.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
